Name Colour Change Snafu
So a few of you noticed I quietly released a new feature last night at 2am (my time) allowing users to purchase a new colour for their name. Unfortunately there was a bug I didn't catch and it allowed several people to change their colour without having the required amount of Koin plus go massively into Koin debt. I've fixed the bug and rolled back everyone's transactions and cleared their custom colours. The new feature works correctly now. I apologize for all the confusion. I know a few people have asked why I priced it so high. The reality is that Drawn is free. I don't have ads on the site and Canadian law (and my own ethics) prevents me from selling your personal information to evil 3rd-parties. The way this site pays for itself is from people who purchase Koin. Name colour is a vanity thing; having a different name colour won't give you any sort of animating advantage or unlock special features. So it's priced high in order to entice people who want it to either create a lot of quality animation to earn the Koin or to support the site by buying the Koin. This is no different than in-game purchases in video games where you can buy your character a rare hat or something that just makes you stand out but doesn't change gameplay.
