spoilers: no matter what don't do it because you'll make a huge mess that's impossible to clean up and get cuts with glass shards all over and in your skin which are hard to remove

I just got a little angry with family and decided to not use my brain for 2 seconds

Thing is, I did it over a carpeted floor so my room is kinda screwed. And no, I can't use a vaccum. The entire area is covered in mountains of tiny glass shards, like you can't even see the carpet
