The first thing Chaos noticed was that it was warm. And soft. As he shifted to a more comfortable position, the soft and warm followed him. When he finally cracked open his eyes, it was bright. There was light coming in from small windows, and reflecting off of white sheets and blankets. He turned his head to look around. He was lying in a large bed. The wood was stained yellow with sunlight, and the blankets he was nestled under were white. The windows were small, but they were spaced out to allow light into every corner. As Chaos woke up more, he looked over at a nightstand that was beside the bed. It had a pile of clothes on it. They. were. pink. He hated pink. Chaos sniffed the collar of his own sweater, and his nose wrinkled. Maybe he did need to change. When he unfolded the change of clothes, he was getting more and more horrified. Firstly, there were no pants. The main thing was a long sleeve dress. It had a black ribbon cinched at the waist, and the skirt was covered in thin white lace. The socks were tall and reached his thighs, and they were a dark shade of pink. Chaos hated everything about this outfit. As he sat up on the bed and pulled the sheets off of him, the floor was very cold. Chaos quickly changed, and realized the clothes were too big. "Stupid human clothes. Too much color." He mumbled. He sat back down on the bed, and the door creaked open. Lucas had heard the monster wake up and change, and he had been waiting to open the door. When he did, his eyes were met with surprise. The monster prince was wearing some crazy bright pink pajamas. As Lucas entered to room, his brother, Ace, entered behind him. "What are you wearing?" Lucas questioned. "The clothes that were on the nightstand." CHaos growls. "Those aren't the clothes i left you. I just left sweatpants and a hoodie." Ace giggled beside Lucas. "Well, those clothes were so boring, i HAD to switch them out for a more appetizing color palette!" Ace chirped. Chaos glared at him, but made no move to get up. "Well, at least they weren't my clothes!" Ace said again, glancing at his brother. Both of the boys smacked their hands to their faces. Lucas was more or less hiding his face, while Chaos was more embarrassed to be wearing someones clothes. Ace was very entertained. He knew his brother was gay, and it was extremely fun to tease him about it. Lucas would never admit it though. Ace had come out years ago, for several things. He was nonbinary, but his parent made him identify as male. It had become more or less second nature. Ace lay his arms behind his head and smirked at the two boys on either side of him, waving his white and purple curls. Chaos had put his hand down, and was now resting his chin on his fist. Their pajamas were at least as bad a his. The white haired boy was wearing what looked to be the colors of three different flags, depicted on a cotton shirt and fuzzy socks. The black haired one who had visited and freed him was wearing a bright blue shirt, with the thumbhole pulled up around his middle finger. He was wearing grey leggings, underneath knee-high sports socks with blue toes and heels. Chaos shuffled his legs, and felt the scratchy lace against his legs. "Well, breakfast is in an hour." Said the white haired boy to Chaos. "Want to come with us?" Chaos looked at him for a minute. "You realize i'm a monster, right?" He questioned. "Yep!" Chaos looked concerned. No human had ever acted this way towards him. "I mean, we could always bring it to you up here, but i think it would be more democratic if you ate with us." The boy said. "My name is Ace, by the way!" Chaos nodded, unwilling to give up his name. "My brother's name is Lucas too." Chaos smirked. "So willing to give away your names." Ace smiled. "How else are we supposed to be friends?" Should Chaos go down to eat dinner, or have it brought up to him?
