Era contest entry
This takes place in the 17th century: When Neila was a kid she always wanted to be in the royal guard, but because females couldn't be knights she ended up being forced to marry a very fat and ugly prince because the prince thought she was the most beautiful woman in the land. (This prince always gets what he wants by the way.) Now she is forced into a dress that barely fits her and is not even allowed to go near any weapons or armor because the royal family thinks she might hurt herself.
