cucaracha lore
me and a classmate/friend of mine both were simultaneously on different road trips and we both kinda went insane, and made lore about la cucaracha from random instagram reels. This is what happens when you put two nerds in separate cars with annoying family members for hours on end. (Tw// Un-aliving) Cucaracha is a female cucaracha (we originally thought she was a guy, we edited that) that was born a bit different. Curaracha is attracted to different genders, but she always hid it from others. Then, she met cucaracho. They fell in love, and cucaracho came out to cucaracha as trans, and cucaracha accepted him. But they live in a world where cucaracho could not be accepted to the public. So he hid that fact. Cucaracha introduced him to her parents, who did not accept him as his “girlfriend” (they don’t know) they are just generally against queer community. Due to the cucaracho’s durability of skin, he could not get surgery, although he tried. He got in a very dark place, and began thinking of dying, but could not do so, due to, again, his durable skin. So he decided not to harm himself anymore, to stay alive for cucaracha. They continued to live, loving each other in secret. One day, cucaracho goes out to get food for the both of them, but doesn’t notice the human that was there. Cucaracha called after him, but to no avail, he couldn’t hear her. He was sprayed to death by bug spray, and the love of cucaracha’s life was gone. Now she had no one in the world that she could be happy with, that accepted her. She never stopped mourning for him, devastated by her loss. Anyways she works two jobs as a dancer and also in retail. :)
