A Question for the Adults on Drawn

Hi all, You might have noticed that instant notification about things has stopped working (i.e. you have to refresh the page to see new messages or alerts). For the Drawn beta I was using a realtime notification service that is free but has limitations. Our second month into the beta this site has gotten popular enough to actually hit the limits of the free service so it's stopped working. For the record, the limitation is 30,000 connections per month (it's basically one connection each time you load a page). It will start working again on November 1st, but if the site continues to grow in popularity we will max out our connection limitation even faster than we did in October. I have two options: 1. Find a different push notification provider - this would require me to research and then re-code a fair bit of the site, and we might run into the same problems for any that have limitations. I don't like this option. 2. Pay to upgrade from free to one of the premium accounts. The next stage up gives us 3,000 concurrent connections (instead of 100) and unlimited total connections per month (plus 31 million messages per month). That's the best option, but unfortunately the cheapest plan costs $30USD per month. I will likely make this purchase sometime in November. I know a lot of the Drawn community are school-aged kids. So for those who aren't, how many of you are capable of purchasing Koin and would be interested in purchasing Koin when that feature becomes available? If (for example), I sold Koin at $5CAD (approximately $3.80USD) per 1000 Koin, I would need almost 10 people buying Koin a month to cover this cost (Canadian currency is worth less than American currency). More Drawn users means more potential Koin buyers, but before I make the push to go live and open the site to everyone I thought I'd just poll the community and see where I was at now and if this model was sustainable. Thanks for your help, Clayton
