Hello Denizens of Drawn! TL;DR: Drawn is going to be updated at 13:00CST today (January 19th, 2020) and will be down for several hours during the update. Make sure you are out of the editor by that time to ensure you don't lose any work Now the long stuff: Today I am going to be releasing new updates to the editor that will let you take animating to a new level. Exciting times! However, you folk have been producing way more animations than I had anticipated when I started the beta and as part of this update I'm going to be doing a massive data conversion and migration to free up space (you guys have maxed out 99% of the server's primary drive). The end result will be that the website should run and load faster. However, given that I've only had a few hundred simple animations to test with in development, I have no idea how long the data conversion process for 60,000+ animations will take or if there will be any unexpected side effects. I anticipate several hours for the whole process. I apologize for the inconvenience. Since I will be making a lot of changes I anticipate there were be bugs both with new and existing animations. When you find them let me know and I'll fix them ASAP. I had planned to create (and actually started) video tutorials for current and new features but recent changes in my life prevented me from completing them, so I'll release the changes first, then slowly release tutorials while everyone struggles to figure out the fancy new features. Once these changes are done, an overhaul to the chat interface (including group chats) is next on my list, though obviously bug fixes will take priority. See you all on the other side!
