One dark day he was on a dangerous mission, tracking down a criminal he had been chasing for years, who murdered his parents when he was young and powerless. and he was killed by this criminal, who burnt down the building once the deed was done. After his death, in the remnants of the burnt down building, his mangled body was found, and preserved, by a scientist, who was Roxanne's father. Axel was reincarnated as a robot. Brought back to life with science and engineering. He was brought back with a contract, however. That he could never stop being a detective. That his job was now his life. And if he stopped working, so did his vessel. Now, Axel must resolve threats of all kinds, and from all universes, no matter the cost, because now his second, and last life is on the line. Luckily, he's not alone. Roxanne continues to work with him on his missions. But what will happen to him when he outlasts her? she's all that he has left... Playtime Axel is a form unlocked by him when he goes on a mission to the Poppy Playtime universe, which the scientist found a disturbance in. And that disturbance is: The prototype.
