Day 6

Garryn Torrinosce is a real chap. He accommodated me and helped in casting a spell from Casting class that I pronounced in an erroneous manner. I sincerely do not understand his fashion selection, though. He is only clothed a shirt and vest, which is peculiar. He never wears a coat or pants, and unquestionably not shoes since he has hooves, and that would be unpropitious.
My noticeability and social acceptance have dearly increased thanks to Garryn. Folks have begun to include me within their conversations. A girl glances at me shyly and colors when I speak to her, however, I have no interest in her. I do not get private with many and none appear as appealing as Garryn, so I shall retain my distance. One friend is sufficient.

Anyway, I acquired more knowledge about mana and the diverse species in the Academy archives. It is said there are not many recordings of mana being used, which is greatly surprising since it is the foundation of our world. Many people and things are composed of the magical substance and are in need of it constantly. Speaking of mana consumption needs, I feel inclined to assist in resolving the problem. I have started constructing a device in the wood workshop, and I feel it is coming along nicely. I wish to consult the Entoliado girl about it, but I haven't had a chance to speak with her. I shall tell Garryn, then. We are buds now.
