The Snock Unf (sn-ock oon-fuh) is an Arctic dwelling species, which can be found burrowing into the frozen wastes. The form burrow nests out of a strong crystal that is secreted from their salivation gland during the winter mating season. They give birth to live young, which are approximately ten-centimetres long. The adults grow up to five metres, the larger of the two being females, who must fend off other females in her and her mate(s)'s grounds, which can range from just one kilometre, to fifty depending on how many members are in the "Kunx", or clan. There is up to twenty members in each Kunx, but averages around six. They mark their territory by scratching the glacial ice, and excreataing a special muscus the consistency of their blood, but it has the pungent odor of mint leaves and blueberries, but over time smells like urine the more the territory is marked. Poligomy is common, and often is how Kunxi form among Snock Unfs. Often, members who do not want to tend to children hand the children over mating pairs who cannot produce offspring, or if the parents are killed via territory dispute, the attacker or remaining members of the Kunx take in the abandoned offspring. Their diet consists of arctic cod, and any other creature they come across, even themselves if they are not a Kunx member. Penguins, and their eggs, are often hunted, though Snock Unf only attack something like a full grown Polar Bear if times are desperate. Parents regurgitate into their children's, or Puums', mouths for them to gain nutrition. The horn on their head is translucent bone, used to help catch cod. They can hold their breaths up to an hour under the surface while hunting. pray is often brought back to the territory, and stored in a pile when times are plentiful. Some birds even fall victum to their hunger if any are cought. they consume even the bones of their prey, to get the most nutrition as possible. Their ears can detect the crunching of snow up to two kilomentres away, though their sense of smell is poor. Their beak is used to help gut prey, and to puncture the flesh, while the four sharp teeth within are used to latch onto prey, while thier sharp, lanky paws can be used to shred and tear apart the prey's body. they hop, and often run at up to 29km/h to chase their prey for a duration of twenty minutes. Their slender body allows them to swiftly turn, or dive into small pockets to claim their food. Their blood is a putrid thing, being very acidic, and a bright violet. It smells sweetly of mint, and is as thick as syrup. often for warmth, they form "munfi", or huddle balls, with the youngest in the centre, while elders are on the outside during the long winter months. #disasterscontest1
