I had meditated a bit before going to sleep to have a lucid dream (did not have a lucid world in mind, I just wanted to have a lucid dream), and when I laid down, I began hearing footsteps next to me, as well as whispers and overall odd noises I assumed that for some reason my dad woke up and went to my room, but after thinking of it for a while, it made no sense Then I asked myself if I was dreaming, although it felt very real. The answer that I gave myself was a yes. I still was not sure, and that's when I realize I didn't brought a reality check object to my sleep so I wouldn't know. I knew that if anything, the dream was definitely happening in my room, and I don't like dreaming of my room because they often become nightmares. I sat up, and began touching my arms to see how real it felt. It felt real, but not real enough; it's the kind of feeling lucid dreams give. I asked to wake up, and I did. When I was finally back to reality, I sat up, touched my arms again, and this time it felt real. I went back to sleep after that, but even if it was an odd experience, I kind of enjoyed it. Next time I sleep, I better bring a reality check object
