Hello all you fine fishy folk! I'm sorry I've been so quiet lately. Some family health issues, job, and life in general keep taking up more and more slices of what little time I have most days. Last year I talked about some work I was doing on a new type of animation site, called Vash. Well today I released it to the wild for alpha testing! For those of you who don't know, alpha releases are generally incomplete/unfinished products that are functional enough to be tried out, with the expectation that the product will continue to grow and improve. Much like the very early days of Drawn. So what is Vash? Vash is an entire animation suite that runs in your web browser. You can manage several clips (that can be placed on the timeline of other clips), do all sorts of fancy things, and its sole purpose is to generate .mp4 video files that you can then upload to the platform of your choice. You can mix as many audio sources as you'd like and you presently can create animations of any length and size. And best of all, it's 100% free to use right now. So does this mean Drawn is dead/replaced? NO WAY! Drawn is special as it is a social animation site with an amazing community and all those share/like/comment/chat features we all known and love and wish I would improve. 😛 Drawn is going nowhere. Vash is a completely different way of animating and doesn't have any social aspects to it. It's more like productive software than a chill social tool. If you want to try it out, below is everything you need. I have one basic walkthrough & tutorial video I made today, and I'll be creating more over the coming weeks to handle all the crazy cool things Vash can already do. Vash: https://vash.digifi.ca Vash Walkthrough & Basic Tutorial: https://youtu.be/ojQoqYTEJW0 Vash Discord Community: https://discord.gg/hFQk3tuXRC Here's the video I posted last year about about the first two months of Vash development: https://youtu.be/GyUt1eJ1gLM Please feel free to try it out. Join the Discord server if you need help or want to report a bug (I'm sure there are tons at this point) or request a feature. But most of all...keep on creating the amazing animations you people do! All my love, ClaytonR #vash
