A question, for my fellow artists.

"How do you express something that feels like it should be a secret through your art?" or to put it more bluntly, something very personal that you still want to express through your work.

i have been asking myself this for two weeks, as i wish to implement it into an art project for school. i just have not found,,, the right muse, the proper feeling, or idea. i have no idea how to conceptualize it into a single oil-pastel drawing, or scratch art without it being...crude, or too obvious. subtle, but there.

so,, if you have ever ran into this issue, what have you done to rectify it? what have you done to find the muse you needed?
