The tribute chapter 37. Realization

By X

Chaos was breaking. The evil ringmaster of this game was torturing him, breaking him over and over again. Needles and blades and sharp things that hurt him. Time was going slowly, the loud clock on the wall was constantly reminding him. He had been separated from Gracie, but he knew whenever the witch left him alone, she was torturing Gracie. Her screams echoed in the darkness, while Chaos could do nothing but listen. It was only until he realized what the witch was after that he started holding back his screams. Chaos had heard the girl talking to someone in the hallway nearby. Sixth sense transfer experiments. A huge factor in the hatred between monsters and humans was that the meek creatures had tried to give themselves sixth senses. It never worked of course, and the operation shut down as quickly as it started, but yet, this was going on. And the witch wanted Chaos and Gracie's tears. Chaos would hold them back, and hopefully she would too. Time was going to keep ticking, and he would die before he let his tears be used for something like that.
