SHe's chosen to be one of the engineers on the ship to keep it running as they travel to mars when she's eighteen. SHe and Nine others are chosen to travel there and they start a training camp that will last two years before they can launch. so, they're meeting a lot of new people when they're eighteen. They are more female when they're eighteen.
