Eñe was so excited for this Thanksgiving. She had invited her best friend Wren over, and Wren's sister Gracie. After dressing her two children up and buckling them into booster seats, she went to her room to get herself ready. Eñe never really had chances to wear what she wanted. She always had too look queenly. When she had weaved the last of the flowers into her hair, she went to see her husband off. Dartus had to leave for a "business trip." Eñe knew he was just going out with his friends for the day. She kissed him goodbye and went back to the dining room. Her chefs had done a wonderful job on the turkey, the mashed potatoes, and all of the yummy things. After setting the table, the big brass door knocker sounded. Eñe rushed over, and pulled the wood doors open. Gracie had her hair in a braid, thrown over her shoulder. Wren just wore a flower behind her ear. Eñe welcomed the two inside, and settled them down to eat. They talked and laughed, the children were being their troublesome selves, and all was well. Anonymous kept hitting her brother over the head with a turkey leg, and it took Eñe awhile to wrestle her makeshift weapon away from her. At one point, CHaos fell out of his booster seat and started pulling Gracie's tail. SHe sighed and buckled him back up. Dinner with toddlers was tiring. It was worth it though, for Eñe to spend her time with her family and friends, even without her husband. After an hour, Eve knew it was time to put the kids to bed. Anonymous had already fallen asleep in her mashed potatoes, so that was that. Eñe brought them upstairs, cleaned the little girls face, hair and horns, and tucked the two troublemakers into bed. SHe then walked downstairs again, and brought out the booze. "Alright ladies! Kids are asleep!" Gracie and Wren grinned, and each grabbed their own drink. "To friendship!" Gracie said, holding her cup in the air. "To monsters!" Said Wren, doing the same. Eñe lifted her glass, and they all drank and talked the night away.
