The tribute chapter 31. Bond

By X

Anonymous didn't know what to do. Chaos meant the world to her, and he was gone. Her mother had forced her to stay in the castle, not letting her out for fear more humans would come. Anonymous didn't care. If she was caught, at least there was a chance of seeing her brother. Chaos was the one person in the world she loved most. They had done basically everything together, even if they were not related by blood. They had both decreed they were siblings at a young age, and their bond had continued to grow. They would get into trouble for each other, do each others school work, and stick up for their sibling. They were rarely seen apart, rarely away from each other. As they got older, they only got closer. They trained together, studied together, two monsters joined at the hip. As now Chaos was gone. And Anonymous was here. Trapped within her own walls, forbidden to do anything to help their predicament. Anonymous wanted to save him. She wanted to break down the castle door, storm right in, and unleash hell. But she couldn't, not with her mother watching her every move. She had to sneak out. But where? Something clicked in her brain. The gardens! There was a large open room in the middle of the third floor of the castle, and it was a garden. It was where all of the exotic fruits and vegetables grew. Anonymous knew there was a river through it, but what if it lead outside? How else would the water get out. She sped out the door, and towards the stairs. It was a short walk, but she had to rest in between the flights of stairs. Shed forgotten how tall the ceilings were. After reaching the garden, she went directly to where the river met the back wall. She and Chaos had swam in this river when they were younger, every summer. Eventually they got too big, but Anonymous could still fit in the shallow water. She plopped into the water, and waded towards the wall. Her mother had always kept the two kids away from it. Maybe it was an escape... When she was at the wall, the water pace quickened, and had more of a pull. 'Here goes nothing...' She thinks, before plunging under and moving through the hole. After being thrown against a stone wall underwater several times, she was spit out of the current and into... Thin air. She gulped and looked down, before falling into a lake below. She splashed and gasped, pulling herself out of the dragging water and onto a shore nearby. Now she understood why mother had kept the small children away from that... Anonymous rubbed her eyes and looked up. Wait... She was outside. And it was raining. She sighed, and pulled herself onto her feet. She would wait for the storm to pass, as she ran to the nearby forest for cover. She knew the human kingdom was east of hers, so through this forest. She set up a camp and fell asleep against the base of a tree. 'I'm coming, Chaos...'
