Star as a mermaid
I'm really proud of this design. The white wings on her back are like a reference to her wings. I added the little silver sparkling designs the the black fins. They shimmer and glow under the light. Ok, so the reason i drew Star as a mermaid/siren is because her mom was half siren. Ok so, Star's mom was a siren. When the mom first met her dad she was planning to ya know do the siren thing, seduce him kill him etc. But, he was on the beach shore and she met him as a person with wings (since she's able to cloak herself how ever she wants) seeing that he had wings. So yeah, she was able to become mermaid/siren and human. Though he was somehow immune to her charms, so as they talked she started to like him more and more. She met someone who was immune to her charms and she was happy, since she of course wasn't interested in any of the other sirens, she was able to fill a void in her heart, someone who could like her for her. So soon, they got married etc, tho she never told him she was a siren in fear that he would reject her after everything. And then came along Star. As Star grew up a beautiful young woman, The mother realized she didn't have the power of exactly charming people. Though she had a voice that would be able to do so. Of course Star never used that voice because with that voice she could sway people to sleep (with her own magic that she already had) or do whatever she wanted them to. The mother taught her about her voice in private, the dad never knew about it, tho Star never uses it cuz she a good bby. anyway, the mother taught Star how to flirt, be kind, etc. Tho when Star was 15, the mother died of unknown causes. Of course this hurt Star but she still lived on. She met Onyx, they fell in love blah blah blah, he died, she felt bad. she grew more sad, the dad grew bitter you get the whole jist so that's the original story of Star's backstory right??? tho it thought of an alternate universe where Star is already a siren. So she met Onyx who is also a siren and they fall in love but of course he dies and all that. So it's basically the same And at one point in the original story, Star does get all mad and stuff and start getting into the war, killing ppl. Tho of course soon after she calm down and felt guilty that can happen in the alternate universe! Onyx dies and to fill the void in her heart, she charms and seduces guys as the beautiful siren she is and kills them. Tho soon after she felt bad and stopped
