Part Fourteen: Just hanging
Green watched Orange flip the Rubix cube again. It made a nice sh sound. Green could see that he had the greens and the oranges all done, and was working on the yellows. They were watching a movie. Thor: Ragnarok. They had both seen it, but Green liked it for all the designs and Orange found the machines to be interesting. They also just liked Marvel movies. But today, Orange was distracted by a Rubix cube he had picked up and Green was distracted by Orange. like always. But they tried to ignore that. Green tried to focus on the movie. But, eventually, they got up to go get their sketchbook. to draw more fashion designs. The one they were currently working on was a daffodil dress. The daffodils had been gone for a while, as it was fall, but Green didn't quite care. Orange looked over at Green when they sat back down, the bean bag squishing. "Are you even watching the movie?" asked Orange. "No. but are you?" asked Green "No. We should probably turn it off," said Orange "True. How's the puzzle going?" asked Green "Pretty Good. Working on the Yellows now." said Orange "I thought you did the yellows before greens," said Green "I used to. The situation just called for greens first," said Orange, a sneaky half smile on his face. "oh, ok." said Green, feeling a blush taking over their face. Orange smiled and went bac to his rubix cube. Green smiled as watched the cube shifting in Orange's hands. "Hey guys, what are y'all doing?" asked Jo Eden, walking in "I'm drawing and He is solving a Rubix cube," said Green, not looking up from the page. "what do you want?" Orange asked his Oldest Sibling "Well, I was wondering if y'all would need a ride to that party tommorrow," said Jo Eden "i'm not going," said Green "Yeah, it would be way too loud," said Orange "And why would you even want us there?" "Reasons," said Jo Eden, leaving the room "Yeah, they're annoying!!" said Orange "Indeed," Said Green, thinking, "You know, we could hang out tomorrow." "What do you mean?" asked Orange "Well, your older siblings probably won't be here, and maybe I could stay over?" asked Green "Yeah, that would be awesome!" said Orange "My parents probably won't care, and Red has a shift at the Roast, so... I'll be good," said Green "Don't your parents get mad at you for hanging out here?" asked Orange "Yes. But I think they have realized they should just ive up on me being masculine at all," said Green, laughing "Yeah. Well, you can stay here anytime you need," said Orange "Thanks, dude," said Green, smiling They talked for a little bit until Red came to pick Green up.
