Vent/Rant/Storytime //TW?//
I really need to stop making friends who I know will hurt me. My (now) Ex-Best Friend decided to be a huge dick about MY relationship because she likes me, and completely hates my boyfriend. This all started when my boyfriend and I had a mini argument, (it was literally over something stupid, and it wasn't even that bad of a fight,) and My friend (who I will call Molly from now on, it's not her real name,) kept telling me I should break up with him. I told her the argument wasn't a big deal, and she just kept telling me it was. (We argued over an anime, it was seriously the dumbest argument ever.) We got over it, and moved on with our friendship, like nothing happened. Now, this next part happened yesterday, and I'm still seriously pissed about it. Molly, Mars (my bf), and I were talking on Discord, and out of nowhere, Molly makes a group chat titled, "Yall can do your horny shit here /nm" and Mars and I laughed about it since we weren't even being sexual in our main gc, and I'm on the Asexual Spectrum. Molly then left, and Mars added her back as a joke. We kept jokingly added Molly back, since she had no reason to leave, and because we were bored. Then, out of nowhere, she left our main gc. We immediately knew something was up. I dm'd her, asking what was wrong, and she kept being a bitch to me. I stayed nice, and told her I was there for her and if she needed me, i would be right there by her side. She kept brushing me off. Later on in the day, around 7th period, I got a message from Mars saying "Help I'm freaking out." I was right there asking questions, finding out what was wrong. "Molly purposely triggered me." He then sent a screenshot of what Molly had said. I won't say what triggered Mars, since it is his business, and that is private to him. I then dm'd Molly about it, and she got mad at me, saying, "I was trying to protect you from him! He's a bad person! He's [Insert his trauma here]! He's just going to treat you bad!" I then told her I didn't want to talk to her anymore and told her we weren't friends and that the world doesn't revolve around her. She said "I hate you." and then blocked me. At least we aren't friends anymore, right?
