Drawn idea: you can know when a user is online or offline with a circle colored green when they are online and red when they are offline. (And a extra idea it could change the color yellow or orange when the hser has been on a page for more than 10-30 minutes)

@ClaytonR you could have an option to let them select to appear offline or online wethere they are or not

Hey y'all, this idea's been pitched a few times (most recently here):

My one main reason for *not* providing this feature yet was concern about stalking-ish behaviour...like you demanding someone answer you in DMs now because you can see they're online, etc.
