Star would sometimes just have a moment where's she sad. And this would happen a lot tbh Like, ofc, she knows that she's not the only one that's away from her kind (depending how open Pepper, Lei and Sei is about their backstories i suppose hh) but, in a way she feels like, at least they have their kind there in adistance. They know they are out there meanwhile she wonders where the ppl that are like her are are they all dead? is she one of the only few left? There are two spiders, two phantoms. They have each other Lei and Sei are in love and can relate to each other pretty well She's alone, she wants someone to brush wings with, someone else with talons who can preen her wings. Someone to fly with, or even float with. She wouldn't care if the other person is an avian or an elytrian, they're similar anyway Maybe she just wants love, someone to love and love her, or perhaps it's just the aching loneliness that she doesn't know if there is someone else like her out there in the world Maybe it's both Despite having so many amazing friends, she is still alone. (For context, in origins basically avians and elytrians are like, poached for their wings/feathers and are rare now) /sorry for the sudden angst this was just on my mind a lot. ngl made myself sad writing this/
