JM lore

By _J_M_

JM is comprised of two separate entities: An Individualist Soul and A part of the Void. In Cannon, the void is an ever-expanding hive-mind that uses souls to manifest physical forms. Issue is, is that the soul still has control over these forms, so, to bypass this, in most cases, the void drives to soul into becoming nothing more than a puppet. Though, this doesn't always work. Some souls are strong enough to fight the void’s influence and maintain it’s independence. This usually results in the void and the soul being separated, as the soul tends to be stronger than the void in these cases, causing the void to be driven away, a result of this is that the soul looses a corporeal form, making nothing but a soul in these cases. But, In very rare cases, The soul and the void influence eachother just enough for both of them to stay separate entities, but not enough to drive out the void. JM is one of these rare cases. What happens in these rare cases, is that the soul’s personality influences the void attached to it, and the void influences the soul. This leads to the void becoming disconnected from the hive mind. The void and the soul influence each-other though, and, for the void, it's easy to determine it's influence: It influences the Individualist soul with madness and irrationality. The Soul’s influence on the void is not as easy to determine though, as it depends on the personality of the soul. The only common factor in these souls is a strong sense of individualism. In most situations, the soul and the void don't have common ground. Which leads to the entity on the outside appearing to be fully unpredictable and in a state in which there are two distinct ever-changing personalities. This makes the entity highly unstable, and able to to just about nothing. In JM’s case, the void and the soul share one thing in common: they both gain strength from chaos. The individualist soul’s will and resolve is strengthened by chaos, and chaos is what fuels the void by nature. This shared common ground allows for compromise. Making JM a highly stable entity. As, when void and soul can comprise without out the loss of one’s will, it creates a stronger entity, as it's two entities fueling and benefiting one outer-entity. Though, With the common ground being Chaos, It leads to JM’s personality to be ever-changing, and his decisions can vary for the same situation dependent on this change in personality. And yes, these are the two entities. this is JM's base form.
