idk what compelled me to illustrate this when i literally have an overdue assignment making a background but ig ill count it as a warm up lol this is a background from a story i've been kind of workshopping. it takes place in 12th century england :pp and its kind of surrounded by a centralized wooded forest (very fairy tale esque layout) the forest is kinda off limits to everyone because theyve sent people in and they keep not coming back so the Church leaders of each individual abbey (basically plot of land) think its a test from God and to go into the forest is to deny your spot in heaven. so no one will ever go in the forest ever it will never happen nope not once ever the story is called Bea right now (totally no correlation lel) but I'm still designing my characters and doing research on the time period so i can make sure they're as accurate as I can get them
