Herrera's Dentecornu -Contest Entry
Classification - Dentecornu [Toothed Wing] Height/Length - 12'' Approx Weight - 550 Pounds or 250 Kilograms Diet - Primarily composed of carrion or otherwise compromised meat, smaller and or younger game with a supplementation of fish. General Behavior - Dentecornu are relatively docile and generally only feed on game a quarter their own size; With the expections of dying and dead flesh. Alongside being solitary nonsocial animals, reports are clear with cannibalism being prominent in the male population, going as far as raiding eachothers nests for their rivals young. Dentecornu tend to hang off the sides of cliffs or canyons utilizing their incredibly long finger claws to hook into the nooks and cranny's of their perches. Biology Footnotes - Tails lenght is incredibly short to reduce drag on the larger creature as a longer tail would cause the creature to be incapable of producing enough lift to carry it. Dentecornu is a scientifically plausible depiction of a dracnoid archosaur.
