Era Contest Entry
Yeah, this in my "Work" that I turned out to draw, I used my persona because I am a very original person that has a lot of Ocs. Backstory (more like a setting). Mexico, 1519, a couple of months before the Mexican Conquest. Tenochtitlan, a beautiful place to visit today, a place to the Aztecs and their empire but, it wasn't so happy and great back then. It was but one part of the brutal nature of life in the Aztec empire, in which activities which would today be regarded as torture or self-mutilation were prevalent. Some brutality was ritualistic, some were part of military training, and some were demonstrative, a presentation to others of courage and endurance or some to praise gods to save the universe from destroying. Little did they know that all of this would not help for what was coming ahead. Sorry for the history lesson right there.
