Dumb thoughts.

Have you ever stopped to think about why we grieve when people die? Like, I know it's obvious, but have you ever just stopped to think about the individual reasons to why one's death causes you or anyone else to grieve? I'd assume many of the reasons are quite similar, but they may vary depending on one's beliefs and personal values, as well as who it was that died.
(I hope this doesn't come off as insensitive. That's far from my intention.)
