About Dartus and the Auditor
This is a response to this post by Drumcat https://drawn.digifi.ca/play/a3uo6d?c=477443 I'm going to explain how Dartus as a design came to be. Back in 2010 I started watching Madness Combat for the first time, now popularised by the fnf community normies. (I like fnf too so there is no hate here). And back then episode 10 Dropped and I saw how cool the Auditor is. Fast forward 7 years and I made a silly little animation called Indestructible. And I needed a Villain, and what looks more badass then a character with the auditor's eyes. So that's how Dartus was born. Now The only resemblence between the Auditor and Dartus are his eyes and the fact that they can summon black fire (wich I thought looked fucking sick). Dartus is fueled by tehnology and the Auditor is a gateway to another dimension. The Auditor is made out of flames while Dartus isn't, Dartus can only transform his limbs and not the entire body. The Auditor seems to be more calculated and reserved while Dartus is fueled by Evil and Adrenaline. I didn't rip off him I just took some elements from him and made somethig original. And the fact that they are both black doesn't count because stickmen are usually black so I only took the eyes basically. Infact I said numeros times that my animation series thingy is heavely inspired by the madness combat series, as it was a good way of learning how to animate and develop a story. The first season was literally a rip off and with time it became his own thing just like Dartus The weapon sprites that I made are actually from madness combat, because I thought it would be interesting to have this thing in common between the two universes
