alright alright
i was drawing a shitpost to spam the notifs of whoever is unfortunate enough to follow me and i was listening to my japanese music
and then came the kamisama kiss opening
so i was thinkin about shojo, and the style associated with it
then came to mind a tiktok
then ouran high school host club
then the ohhc manga and the cover art and how deliciousy shojo and gorgeous it is
and boom
i mainly used a 90's shojo style manga cover as a reference, with a few others for the uniform, hair style, and pose. the shading was very light on the skin, which i did my best to mimic. its hard to see but its there lmao. because the eyes went so well with a sktechy look, i decided to keep the rest of the lineart kinda messy. the hair coloring is obviously not perfect, but i think it works. anyways im super duper mega proud of this and its goin iin still waters :)))
ive never drawn in this style but it was hella fun
