uh a few tw please read them before diving into this:: tw r/pe , general death & m/rder , gorey themes , uhuh mentions of emotional manipulation and such theres a lot yuh but im just gonna run it down as organized as my scattered ass brain can be ok so - liz (main protag) starts off her epic journey in new york working in a smallerish part of the city as a social worker for the police - uhuh vetis (main antag and lord are its powers confusing as all hell) comes along and uhuh im thinking either he just,, bothers her one way or another. im kinda leaning to a him meeting her in a normalish fashion and just,, slowly fucking with her mind via scary manipulation powers -uhuh vetis finds out sooner rather than later that he cant transfer bodies with her because she has a kinda unawakened soul situation (souls = powers btw) and it makes him interested because usually he can possess people weaker than him so that means liz is stronger so - liz kinda pieces things together and tells vetis about the nightmares and vetis wants her on his team so he is like 'lol yea that was me sorz love ;)' then hes all like 'people are trying to catch me cause i have these powers i need you to stop them please babeby :(((" idk guilt tripping her into it essentially - she's too nice to say no and decides to help him and vetis sends her on this whole plan to destroy organization that's trying to catch him - real reason they want vetis:: vetis is possessing the body of the founder's son and vetis is trying to make the human race his slave essentially and yes i thought of this and yes its possible for him to do if he gets strong enough - nyways pretty much what happens after that is liz catches feelings hard for him and vetis is trying to find out why she's so powerful and how the hell can he swap bodies and successfully engulf her power p much - during this time, liz meets the founder (i call him Liam im prolly not sticking with the name tho) of the said organization and kinda befriends him without knowing he is that founder. - uhuh vetis is usually more patient but he starts to get impatient not being able to possess liz so p much uhuh he uses her feelings to her to manipulate and p much have sex with her even though she really didnt want to. in short: he forced her to say yes aka r/ped her. - this happened a few more times but he literally couldn't get into her soul or engulf it and uhuh it got worse overtime to a point where liz was questioning if vetis actually cared about her or if he was just using her - liz goes to visit Liam one day and he starts talking abt his job and what he's after and lets it slip he's looking for vetis and liz is like oh my god i gotta tell vetis these are the bad people like he said - she tells him and he fucking flips out and decides that they have to fight p much and he tells liz that she has powers and she better get her shit together and use them or else both of them will die a terrible death (which is a lie) - regardless, liz is scared shitless and tries for like a solid week of really terrible training from vetis to awaken siad powers. - doesn't work and vetis is finally tracked down and he pretty much forces liz out of the house and makes Liam and his bodyguard Caesar (main sidecharacter hes very important) - uses Liz as bait p much and shes just like ok i accept this ig cause he loves me rihgt?? uhuh leads them to an almost empty part of town and they p much fight - liz is like trying really hard to fight even though she can't fight at all she knows barely anything - uh one monologue from Liam later and she realizes how much of a liar vetis is and how terrible of a person he is- gets mad at vetis and tries to prevent him from hurting the others which pisses off vetis to a point where he kinda goes to rip out her eyes
