Dreamwalking (1)

By Allen

"Dreamwalking is the ability to leave the barriers of one's own mind while asleep. It allows the dreamwalker to enter someone else's dream and observe or control them, or to travel to other realms" While it may seem fake, it is indeed real. Not only because I've proven it myself, but because many other Oneironauts have done it before. Dreamwalking is often used as a synonym to lucid dreaming, but lucid dreaming refers more to your own dreams inside your own mind, while dreamwalking is getting out of your dreams to enter other people's dreams. There's many forms of dreamwalking, like appearing in people's dreams, entering someone's dreams and being able to manipulate it, or seeing someone's worries and wishes throughs dreams. When entering someone's dreams, you can manipulate it like I said, and that means you can also turn it into a nightmare. Using dreamwalking power's against someone could end very badly, so please, avoid doing so if you are able to dreamwalk. How does one dreamwalk? It's the same steps to lucid dream. Meditation. The most simple way to dreamwalk is by simply appearing in someone's dreams but not being able to dream the same or entering their dreams, it's like making someone think about you but while they sleep. To achieve this, you may think very strongly about this person before sleeping. Set a clear mental intention to visit this person's dream. Sometimes, it's good to tell this person directly that you will enter their dreams, that way, they'll be aware you might be in their dreams and that makes it easier. But that's only sometimes. To go from your own dreams to someone else's dreams you can use lucid worlds, like creating a space just for them and you, but that's a bit complicated. So, an easier way is to follow the same steps from before, thinking strongly of this person before sleeping. Except that you have to add the fact that you want to participate in the dream too. Repeating phrases in your head like "I will enter (name)'s dreams tonight" is very helpful. If you were able to enter someone's dreams, you can ask them what did they dream once you wake up to see if it matches. It could not be 100% accurate, due to this person hiding some details, not being able to remember some parts, or simply because they were viewing it from other perspective, but if the main topic is the same, then you most likely were able to enter this person's dreams. Do not say it out loud. Do not tell this person, "I entered your dreams! it was me!" because they might not want you to do so. They could not believe you, in the best of the cases, but if they do, they could search ways to avoid someone entering their dreams and so you'd lose the ability to see their dreams. But also you've got to respect it if they do not want you to enter their dreams. You can be perceived as someone else in these dreams. You can choose you be viewed differently, like an animal, someone else, anything, so that person would not recognize you (unless you do want them to know it's you). That's called using a skin. You can also achieve this by meditating. You can draw out how you want to look like or describe yourself in a paper, reading it out loud a few times then putting it under your pillow to make it easier. Dreamwalking can be different in each Oneironaut, sometimes we find our own methods to do so that might be hard to describe to others, that's why there's not much information about dreamwalking in the internet besides the basic. It takes a lot of time and effort to achieve this, but some people are able to do it easily (and even accidentally).
