hm, it seems like while he acted cold and strong towards him, he still was shaken up, and fearful for his own life, and I'm guessing the ppl he was protecting as he said "I'll leave you be, if you leave us be"

So, i do admit, while yes, he does act a certain way towards this animal character, he also seems to do it out of self defense? Though idk
