I don't think any month should have any political theming around it. do you really need a whole month dedicated to something? I think a week is fine, but a whole month? you're probably only doing a weeks worth of shit anyway through that whole month anyways. Plus, there's only 12 months anyway, so all the spots are taken up! That means you have to make the topics for each month very vague and broad so that less people feel excluded, but by doing that you basically dilute whatever point you're trying to make, essentially making it worthless in the end. on another note, fuck those stupid "national [blank] days". who the hell decided that national doughnut day is on June 5th? and who cares? what are we even doing man? jesus.
