Okay, so, these two both grew up at the boarding school/orphanage that trained kids to become astronauts. Delaney still does have their little sister alive. The two of them were assigned the same room for almost their entire schooling years, except for fifth grade. eventually, they became eligible to go to Mars with their crew. They have been falling in love for a while, but had to keep it a secret if they both wanted to go on the mission. They both survive the crash when Indre and others I haven't named sabotage the ship. THen the Archdemon and the Archangel try to revive them with angel and demon magic/DNA. While they were on the ship, both might have developed crushes on other people, and told each other, but they're keeping that a secret from everyone else. also, no one knows they're dating except Liam, because he knows everything, including who Mars is.

also, they both use mostly they/them pronouns but will also use she/he pronouns too. they are both shapeshifters but Mars is also half warlock.
