#disasterscontest1 ----The Gorgonosaur--- During the late iceage, very few dinosaur species survived, leaving very few of them to walk the earth, this is one of them. -----The Name---- The name Gorgonosaurus, directly translates to 'Frightening, Repulsive, or Ferice Lizard' It was named like this to due its huge overbite, making it look disfigured and ugly. -------Behavior-------- Like most sauropods, it spends its days eating, alot, it has to eat roughly 5 times its body weight each day, thats about 500 tonnes of plant material. when their not eating, they are caring for young, and or sleeping. ------Courting and Breeding----- Gorgon's reach sexual maturity at around 40 years of age with some females taking upwards of 5o years. both male and female gorgons will protect the nest, alongside the young, however, once grown, the male will drive the young out. ------Gorgons in a nutshell--- Gorgons are surprisingly intelligent, and are known to let smaller animals use them as shelter, with some accounts of humans using them as mobile homes. however, as the times went on, this creature began to fade, and some begun to think that these 'New Dinosaurs' were simply a myth.
