I'm sorry that this site has caused you more harm than good, and you probably won't even see this, but know that you're better than you think. and that you'll keep on getting better. I know it sounds corny, but all you've gotta do is believe in yourself a little more. Heck, maybe you'll come back here in like 5 years and say, "I've made a lot of progress. I feel good about myself." That is totally possible. Don't come on here if you don't want to. Don't listen to me if you don't want to. Do what YOU want to do, not what the sucky depression voice in your head tells you to do. I can tell you, most people hear that voice, and they respond to it in either a good way or a bad way. I hear it, myself, most days, but if you fight it, you will win. Don't worry about us here, and don't worry about what insults or hate people will throw at you in the future. You're good at art no matter what even you think, so believe that everything's fine in that field and agree with yourself that everything will get better. Cuz it will! I don't know if I'm younger or older than you, but I do know that people will always try to bring you down. I've learned not to let them. So if leaving this site makes you happier, if you feel like an enormous weight has been lifted, good! I honestly yearn for that feeling of relief myself, but I still feel like it's too early for me. Go live your life, in the best way possible, and have a good time doing it.
Be free.
Writing that whole thing made me feel really good inside, even though I know you probably won't even see it. People who DID read this, thanks for your time.
in the end, drawn is just a community website. and if its making u feel bad or whatever dont go on it, same with any other site. maybe u should just take some time to work on ur self esteem in the artist sense. if u feel that u are pressured to do "good art" here then thats how its gunna be everywhere, especially when u get out and start doing things like commissions. its a bad artistic habit to get stuck in, all artists go through it but its a matter of finding out when its really just all in ur head and ur a good artist no matter what other people make/ say. the reality is there will always be someone with better skill than u, however there will be soooo many people who u surpass in the artistic skill level. ive been drawing for longer then most of the people on this site have even been alive, i have thought the same way. but u really need to think about it.. is it really the people here who are making u feel pressured into making "better' content or is it you getting caught up in self doubt and placing urself in the shadows of other artists??
I wish you the best of luck on the path that follows. I'm sorry you had such a terrible time here, but I'm glad you've decided what to do. I genuinely hope you have a good time.

Sorry to hear you're leaving! I know we didn't talk much but I just want you to know that I've always found your art to be absolutely wonderful/adorable, and I hope you continue to learn and grow more as an artist! And like you said, in the end it's all about how you personally feel about your artwork; and if leaving Drawn is how you believe you'll continue to develop into an even better artist than the one you are now, then all I wish to you is the best of luck! And stay safe!
I do wish you goodbye, but a few did actually think they made friends with you :\ so... I don't know how that'll feel to them. But, I do wish you goodbye.
it's sad that you're leaving, but I mean you have many reasons and no one is gonna stop you, maybe you should come back in a year or two and see how everything is doing... see how the people that were inspired by you are doing... maybe, just maybe.
No stopping ya really. Sounds harsh, sorry.. didn't intend to sound that way. But yeah, you're right. A rank doesn't define your skills, only you can. That's some good advice really. I always thought being minnow made me a very low superior and nobody likes my art. But, in the end, my stuff's sorta appreciated. But, still.. you're right. And I wish you the best of luck through out your life, and hope your dreams and wishes come true. Also, when we first met you seemed cool. So, uh, guess we were sorta friends. So, good luck :)
