~ The Beginning ~

Writing a story about Khalla... yes. I drew this picture to go with the first chapter, but if I don´t feel like it I won´t draw a picture for every one. If you´re interested in reading the first chapter you can check it out on my ToyHouse, @frog_plushies,, or you can just read it below lol (TW slight gore) Khalla eyes felt as if they were glued shut, his eyelids being pushed together by the sunlite. In all their years of afterlife she could never remember it being this bright. He shifted around and realized she still had on the same outfit as yesterday, and wondered why they hadn't changed. Khalla pried his eyes open, but the sunlight was too much, blinding them and forcing her to keep his eyes closed. He thought for a second and realized they couldn´t remember why she hadn´t changed into different clothes the night before. They realized she didn´t remember much from the night before at all. He remembered the morning, Frootie Curls and avocado toast for breakfast. She remembered going through their walk to work, sorting souls into Azure or Abyss. They remembered stopping at a vending machine on their way to an angel interview, and grabbing some cookies. He remembered her boss coming up to them and... She remembered one more thing, something he did on their lunch break. Soaring to the edges of Azure, where the clouds thin, and you can see The Greenland. Where millions of tiny mortals roam in their killable, penetrable bodies. Khalla shivered in the sunlight, remembering how, long ago, they had stopped reading the causes for mortals death when sorting them into their afterlives. There she was, on the edge of Azure, deep into a large patch of woods, sitting and waiting near a tunnel. The tunnel didn´t go too far back before it became pitch black. Khalla sat and hummed before he heard a slight rumble, and a body can running out of the tunnel, into Khalla´s arms. He hugged the body close, before it pulled Khalla into a kiss- Oh crap, Sameer! Khalla´s mind began to swim with the same thoughts they listened to every morning. She´s so amazing! Is she alright? Did anything happen to her? Did anyone find out? The last question sent a shiver down Khalla´s spine, and he sat up, opening his eyes. The problem was that the was yellow blocking her eyes, and when they turned around, more yellow. Khalla stood up, and let out a gasp as he realized that this wasn´t his bed, it was a field of sunflowers. When she swiveled her head to look around they writhed in agony and discomfort. He screamed as she put their hands under his shirt and felt two twisting scars barely scabbed over, right where his wings were supposed to be.
