Chaos had asked for the food to be brought up. He needed time to think, without the two princes watching him all the time. As he slouched onto the floor of the hallway, he stuck his head out of the window and leaned on his arms. He wanted to go home, but he couldn't jump out the window, he couldn't wander the castle without being seen, and he wasn't as strong as his mother, so he couldn't fight off the guards. Chaos was completely trapped. Back when humans could find monsters more easily, monster tears were high on the black market. Humans used to perform experiments, trying to give themselves sixth senses using monster tears, since tears were rarer than blood. The result was death. No human blood should be crossed with any kind of monster dna, especially the most powerful part. Chaos's history lessons flashed in his mind as tears rolled down his face. He had only cried one other time, when his grandparents had passed away. Monsters didn't cry very often. He was so caught up in his sadness, CHaos didn't hear the magically muffled footsteps, that slowly passed behind him. He returned to his room a few minutes later, after his tears had dried. There was a plate of food waiting for him. He ate it slowly, thinking. He was going to have to get closer to his kidnappers. WHo should he get closer too? Ace or Lucas?
