The tribute chapter 12. pt.1 Eñe.
Eñe normally enjoyed her weekly flight, but something was on her mind. Her's and Wren's. "Hey, i know your sad, but they're going to be fine." Wren assured her. Eñe smiled sadly. "I know, but i can't help but worry. WHat if he gets into a fight?" Eñe replies. "Then it'll be just like old times!" Wren replies. Eñe sighs. Old times.... When Eñe and Wren were just hatchlings, the kingdoms had been closer to each other, therefore schools were mixed. Monsters and humans had to get along. Eñe was terrified on her first day, she was the princess of the monsters, and so of course she was a target for the mean human bullies. She remembered getting onto a fight with a boy named Fusion. She had a crush on him when she first laid eyes on him, but after learning he was not a monster, but a cruel heartless ROYAL human, she despised him. He would mercilessly pick on her with his bunch of goonies. She remembered being cornered at the edge of the schoolyard fence, because she had started growing her back legs. They were hitting her, and cutting her, and she was about to make a terrible mistake. You see, all monsters have a sixth sense. When they are in extreme danger, or feel very very strongly about something, they can release an inner demon. All monster children are trained to control it from birth, they are taught to never release it. Well, Eñe was about to, wheen Wren and her sister, Gracie, stepped in and chased the bullies away. The two were new to the school , and, Eñe showed them everything. Gracie became popular among the other monster children, but Wren stayed close to Eñe, always protecting her and standing up for her. Well, when she got into a fight with Fusion, she won. She had been spending her weekends with Wren, training and fighting, outside of her parents control. The teacher came outside and broke up the fight, but Fusion was beat up and bloody. Eñe had a few scars herself, but she was definitely the better of the two. A crowd had gathered around, and the mood had shifted that day. Monsters could see that humans were weak, and that they could beat them. Eñe, Fusion and all the other children in the crowd got sent to detention for the rest of that week. Only six humans were there though. Eñe remembered their terrified faces as they walked into a classroom, full of grinning teeth, sharp claws and angry eyes. The score was going to be settled. Since the bullying had gone on, basically their whole childhoods, it was only fair that this lay it down. The groups immediately fought, biting and clawing. Eñe distinctively remembered pulling away from the bustle, and seeing FUsion standing across the room. They made eye contact. "When i'm king, I'M GOING TO DECLARE WAR ON MONSTERS!"
