Day 5
The white-haired imp boy was staring at me again. It was kind of creepy. I look over at him and he just, looks the other way... It's strange. During mana scrying class there was a large blue fox with horns... It' was really strange. Everyone in class noticed but he didn't, even when it started jumping around. We later found out it was his Vashinti, a mana-made animal that bonds with a person and shares their conscience. The boy is rumored to be Evan McCauley of McCauley Estates, a house-building company. Their rather rich and I heard his mana is so high that the Professors don't want anyone to know. That sounds so.. exciting. LATER: I got my mana reading today! It's okay, I'm a level five, which is common. I was hoping for something higher, but I'll be fine with a level 5. It means I can do normal stuff, so that's fun. At least I'm not that girl in my class who got a level two. Poor girl doesn't have a magical future at all. I better start studying. I need to become better! We get to try and find Vashinti's in the Other and catch them. I hope I get to bond with one. Good night, Jeremy Baker P.S. The deer boy, Garryn, is still popular as ever, but I asked him why, and he smiled and said he didn't know. He said he'd rather look like me, since I'm about average. He says he hates looking "cute". I think we bonded. We might become friends...
