- vetis has to focus on fighting liz since she is a lot more powerful than caesar and he pretty much finally distracts her to a certain point and knocks cacesar tf out because yk hes really fucking powerful and god his pwoers are very confusing im sorry - liz is facing vetis alone adn idk keeps fighting him for a while prolly gonna have him egging her on and some bullshit dialogue to piss her off - ok it looks like vetis has the uppre hand at a certain point but woowowoosh liz literally bursts in to flames like really big greenish almost blue flames - liz is litreally unaffected and goes to keep fighting him she is like idk super awakened at this point and she throws out the finishing punch which literally disintegrates his vessel and his soul so vetis is dead for good - lthe flames die down from her and she's unharmed from them, but she faints onto the ground from exhaustion and shock - caesar wakes up not too long after and moves to her quickly and he gets really scared because she wasn't waking up and he brings her to the hospital - at the hospital p much the doctor said that she was in a coma and they werent sure if she would wake up from it since she had a lotta otehr broken adn sprained bones - its a lot of caesar just goign to visit her and trying to cope with what could happen and he can barely do that after his sister since she's the last person really alive that he's close to - uhuh timeskip to roughly a month's time and she wakes up and caesar is there and she's like 'yo,,,, what happened did we win>???:" - caesar is like in shock and he is so damn happy he just hugs her without another thought and he's crying and hes more emotional than ever and its fuckin great - the book ends with caesar going back to his job as teh bodyguard for hte organization and liz probably got offered a job there but for now hse's stuck in california trying to get her life back together and yeah its prolly an open ending where its kinda the 'my life begins here' shit
+ quartz puts liz on the bike and starts driving off because she needs to get away from that place adrian and darion are following in a car + uhuh highspeed fight and liz shooting with fire bullets from her fingers she makes at the wheels + eventually she jummps off, kicks in the window and forces darion out of the passengers and goes to fight adrian while he's driivng + adrian crashes into the side of tunnel and her legs are like idk something not detrimental happened and adrian is dead asf next to her and darion already got ran over on the road he's dead too so more trauma yuh + reece comes back to fight only liz wowowowow its sppooky because woa he was literalyl in a relationship with darion and pretty much reece fights with stronger will and powers cause yk fueled by anger and sadness. liz wins and convinces reece to chill tf out and she pretty much breaks down cause she knows she killed him and it hurts for her too - in the middle of this quartz and liz like,, spar and shti cause yea caesar is still technically training liz even tho theyre like best friends at this point + quartz actually has the first interaction with vetis and they go to fight him and they die yeah but there are prolly gonna be filler chapters to help get to know them so its not just a random person just died also this means vetis is noticeably stronger
- ok important fight time:: vetis finally faces liz head on and like,, she is like unaware at the moment but eventually after she finds out quartz is dead he probably left a note to tell where he is and where he will be to fight - liz decides to go and ofc caesar is right behind her supporting her cause they both have kinda bad blood with him - okok so caesar is the only one who meets him headfront and he fights him on his own for a while and he's like losing and shit but then boom liz comes from the back that was their plan yuh
- vetis escaped again because yk transferring bodies and stuff and call from liam says that vetis is in California - caesar is quick to try and dismiss it and he wont tell liz what's wrong until idk he eventually tells ehr and yeah liz feels terrible that he had to see that and they kinda bond after idk some comforting monologue from liz - uhuh they go to california and the organization prepared an apartment this time just in case yuh yuh - gonna shorten the fights again because again they are long asf also i dont have all of them planned out + liz fights someone idk who but litreally i need it to kick off with some kind of simple yet intense fight. ill make a new character with it + ok caesar is faced with uhuh clown sisters idk their pwoers but god i love them they have a rooftop chase battle and yea caesar wins <33 + amanda is back and shes like "haha hey babe <33" and liz is freaking out and fights her and she wins ofc cause amanda doesn't try but idk some thoughtful monologue later and amanda leaves her alone + liz is p much walking home from the amanda fight and is attacked by mysterious biker person and they have crystalization powers and its so cool but liz ends up having to flee because they almost impale her like 800 times in that fight + caesar and liz fight together against reece he has some kinda agility based power im thinking shadow person power where he can become his shadow and go out of it and its pretty cool i like it but yea they need to fight together + uhuh liz gets kidnapped by mysterious dudes (adrian and darion) and p much adrians like 'lol guess what i was told by a voice in my head (aka vetis because vetis is controlling all these people subconsciously shoulda sadi that before lol) to capture u so now ur here lol' + liz gets rescued by mysterious biker person and is getting ushered out until darion shows up and is like 'hey u cant do that' + biker and darion fight darion's powers are like pinpoint accuracy with a gun of any type he's like a human sniper + biker person turns out to be person named quartz they were a former victim of human trafficking to adrian since adrian runs that kind of business + uhuh she p much stalls enough to get caesar in the building and caesar helps liz and quartz both get out of hte building
- literally as soon as his hand touches her eyes her face lights up on fire and shes screaming and his hands pretty much disintegrated to ash and her face is burning and its fucking insane - vetis litreally kicks her to the side and tries to keep on fighting and caesar kicks his ass cause hes the best i love him - vetis is supposedly 'killed' by caesar but hes not haha he escaped and liz is literally passed out bleeding and her face is all burnt and bad timeskip because she's in like a 2 week coma - she wakes up in a hospital and she can't see shit other than flashes of color (like,, they all look like blurred together blobs and she can sometimes see shapes) - she freaks out because she can't see and caesar is there he's like 'yo fucking chill lady its fine' and shes like 'tf you mean i cant even see what am i going to do aaaaaaaaaaa-' - liam walks in to check on them and calms liz down by explaining what happened and what was going to happen in the future and shes crying and freaking out still because yk she's blind now - he p much explains that caesar is training her to use her powers and fighting techniques with her blind stick since he uses spear like objects too - she tries to deny it since she literally doesn't want to fight at all she just wants to live a normal life and caesar is like "damn too bad i wanted a normal life but here we are stupid" - Liam also explains that she is going to have to go to one of their ""bases" and the one he kinda assigned them to was near the edge of Canada since canadian scientist man - she goes there and pretty much learns how to train from caesar and they kinda bond in that time period and she learns more about him and learns more about the whole organization and her own powers - okok im literally going to end up making a point in this to spar and eventually she spars with him close enough to beat him and yay thats great - ok after spar liam was like idk traveling trying to find vetis or signals"" like vetis (they have a device pls dont ask i dont know about it either) and they located a large mass of them in mexico - kinda sets caesar off because his mom and his younger sister are there and hes like 'yo we gotta go there. liz ur coming with me smh' and p much they go there - uhuh they stay at a hotel nearby caesar's neighborhood and they frequently go to caesar's sister's house because i llove the sister she's great - uhuh im really shortening this because there are so many fights so ima just sum up each fight:: + liz fights girl who can control dead and she learns how to fight with bigger crowds + caesar is faced with fighting a dude with idk im thinking some kinda mind control powers like vetis but not ??? idk im thinking abt it + liz encounters 3 doctors and their ''expirament' which is just a lizard/salamander girl who fights really well. she almost dies but caesar comes in last minute and saves her ass + caesar faces someone scouting in front of his house shes a big work in progress + liz faces the first doctor which is amanda and yes she comes back and pretty much they fight adn amanda is sadistic asf her pwoer is controlling her blood and making it solid liquid and gas at will its pretty cool and scary and the fight is scary and gay and wow its a lot + first fight with just caesar where caesar fights off both the remaining doctor and salamander girl. wins against the doctor and knocks him unconscious but the salamander girl escapes barely + liz faces one of the doctors on her own in a desreted area and she pretty much ends up going all otu and literally imploding them in front of her face. traumatized asf and it takes like an hour for caesar to reach her since shes in the middle of nowhere + liz fights salamander girl while still being shaken up and she p much puts her out of commission
