there was a press conference yesterday in which erie county officials announced that erie is now in a state of emergency (meaning all schools shut down in that area, and any large group gatherings or events will be shut down.) and they ALSO said that they special ordered hand sanitizer in bulk, but "it will be for government use only". which i think is hilarious. really shows how appreciative they are of the public for sticking through this and helping everyone out. fuck all the doctors who revived any elderly people who fell with this disease right? fuck all the officers who responded to those cases and saved lives in the last few months right? fuck anyone who is too poor to clean their kids and go to the doctor right? yeah the GOVERNMENT, the people who've taken their sweet ass time responding to the entire matter, THEY should get hand sanitizer in bulk. god what a fucking joke.
