this is Mavis Mallee. she was born in the backseat of a minivan. she was born with a rare disease known as albino syndrome. a sweet song was playing. when she was developing, her fingers' bones grew too long and formed claws. she sliced through her mothers stomach in the car, killing her. her father drve to the hospital, but it was too late. he was so angry, he decided that the beautiful song that was playing in the car would be mavis' last song ever. he cut her ears off. big scars stayed on her face. mavis ended up leaving her abusive father when she was 16. she ran away into the city of chicago, only to find herself lost without a home. she met a strange man, who took her into his mansion. he saw she had no ears, and took her to get large fluffy ears surgically put on her head, per her request. one night she was snooping around when she got bit by a spider, glowing dimly. the spider bite gave her special powers, enhanced her hearing, and grew her a tail. she was able to shoot neon arrows through her hands. her adoptive father made her a suit, so she could work without being seen. she took on the name spider glow, and now helps poor children being abused by their parents.
