Chosen one: Season one: Episode two
THe next morning, at dawn, Gabby woke up to water in her shoes. She was sprawld out on the sand, except the water had risen and was almost at her chest. Pulling her self up, she looked for a path to the shore. Or, if there was still a shore. Unfortunatley, just as she did this, a wave crashed over her head. This was weird behavior for a lake. Lakes usually didn't have waves unless something upset them. Gabby managed to stand on her feet, but was slammed again, into the sand. The lake pulled her towards the bottom and she tried swimming to get free. Though, she saw something glint a golden color. She turned to see a sword in the bottom. It seemed to call to her. There were golden rays of light coming from the etchings on it. Gabby swam towards it and pulled it out of the ground. then there was no water except for around her feet. She looked up to see a beautiful woman standing on the top of the water. She was blue, with fabric draped over her curves. Her hair was barely tied together by a golden thread. She seemed flawless. "Hello Gabby," her voice was soft and sweet, and mimicked the sound of the lake," I am here to teach you and give you what you need. I am the lady of the lake, and I have taught the new monarchs for centuries. You are the new Queen of the SUn region," "I'm what? Is this what the sword is for?" asked Gabby, Looking at it. "Yes. it has hidden powers that will reveal themselves to you. For now,gather your people, for you must rule in secret," the lady started to sink into the water. "Wait, so the king is dead? and why do I have to rule in secret?" "Your father could not keep the king alive after he was poisoned. He died last night. But, he was poisoned by the rising empire. One of the nurses of the cult was forced to do it. Be careful. now, i must bid you farewell. I will come with the mists tomorrow," she sunk all the way back into the water. ****** yeah, so, in case you find;t already know, the pictures will not always be accurate.
