Hi guys, Box Anon here, and I'm here talking about a bit more of a light-hearted topic. It's still /Technically/ political, but it's more about the economy than social issues. So, One of the most ironic statements I often hear is that "America's Healthcare system is a perfect example of capitalism" Which is funny, because the Healthcare system isn't fully capitalist, as the government is involved in funding them. That, and there are many regulations that prevent competition and cheaper forms of medical aid from driving prices down, but that's more complicated. anyway, back to the topic at hand: The misconception. If I had to guess where it comes from, It'd probably be from the fact that we have one of the most capitalist healthcare systems, but that doesn't actually make the system a pure capitalist system. It's kinda like saying that the Queen of England is older than 8. You're correct, she is, but that's not exactly a proper representation of just how old she is. Anywhoo, that's that rant done and over with. It'll be a bit till I make an account, for personal reasons, but it's fine. So, with that, I hope you all have a wonderful today and tomorrow! Stay safe!
