aight thanks for participating in my contest!!!! there were 3 very well crafted submissions. ill say this much: it wasnt easy choosing the winner. uhhhh yeah. WINNER!!! in 3rd place, @Blatzz !!! overall, a pretty solid submission. i'll give you some constructive feedback tho. careful on the mixing. make sure that the instruments dont get loud suddenly when they're not supposed to be as loud relative to the volume of the song as a whole. the lil effects n stuff you threw in there were very nice. however, on the melody you created, i could hear that you were going out of key on a note or two. that creates a kinda un-charming dissonance. it grows on ya the more you listen to it tho so i'll give you that. well done. 2nd place goes to @Dominator_virus !!! this submission was a mashup of the melodies i had hidden in the song already, but it was compiled well, i'd say. some constructive feedback- some parts felt kind of like they were out of place. like a puzzle with pieces mashed into the wrong spots. a more profound way to put it would be continuity. the continuity of the song seems to be a bit jumbled. try working with simpler song structures sometime. it'll better your understanding. there were some rly good parts in there tho. like blatzz, there were a few times you slipped up and went out of key, but it was rare and almost unnoticable. i can tell you're getting better at hearing keys. nice job. and first place goes tooooooo.... @Ur_.Local_Rat !!!! im a huge fan of chromatic chord progressions. call it biased if you must, but hey. can we all give this person a huge round of applause cuz this is the first time they're using beepbox or a mod of it. seriously well done considering that. mixing wasnt the best on the kicks, of course, but that's to be expected. sometimes the song felt a bit incomplete at times, but damn it was easy to follow and all the parts were clear while sounding amazing. [on another note, if any of you have been reading enough to be reading this, there's a chance you read the whole description. if so, include the word "fern" in your comment, but dont say anything about it. back to the feedback.-] Basically all of your (like 2) problems can be fixed with time and experience with beepbox. not to mention the drums. those drum rhythms had my jelly beans jumpin!!!!!!! so uh yeah! super good job!!! be my friend (please), and congrats! enjoy your trophy of some sort. it'll be on ur submission. again, thanks for participating, you three. i would've given you my own rendition, but my earbuds died so i cant make one rn. i probably wont come back to do it either. yippee!!!!
