Pointless mini rant
Disclaimer: This is NOT a thing I witness often (In fact, I've barely seen anyone do this), but I still feel the need to address it. So I've seen some people post stuff where they're being honest about their current emotional state and letting us know they're going through a hard time, okay? Nothing wrong with that. What gets on my nerves is when some people comment stuff like "No don't think that, so many people love your work and you're a great artist/animator" when the thing the person is venting about has nothing to do with their artistic abilities nor their popularity. Like, I get that these people are trying to be supportive, but it feels like they don't get why this person is upset and immediately assume that their negative emotional state is due to them thinking they're a bad artist, which sometimes is the case and then it's appropriate to use that type of response. But when it's not related to their art, it just (to me at least) comes off as the commenter not getting the point of the vent. Really sorry if this comes off as rude/offensive. I don't intend to call anyone out (Even if that's technically what I'm doing). Please let me know if there's anything wrong with what I said (besides the grammar). Anyways.... uh...... have a swell existence.
