Tracing can mostly be bad in most scenarios, but there are some pros

Pros: Tracing can help you improve getting smoother lines-Tracing can also help you get inspiration for new oc's you can make, if it's ok to get the same species

There are mostly cons though '.-.
Cons: Tracing in public can be illegal- It's bad if you don't credit the artist and/or targetting them as tracing you being a lie-There are gonna be comment wars-there are so many more that I can't count
