The palace was commissioned Over 2,000 years ago by the 10th king of the Oldren kingdom, which, for homosapiens, all you need to know about this king is that he was dubbed "The Tyrant", and overthrown by the Oken Family. The king had commissioned the massive palace as a way to show that he had power and wealth. though, once overthrown, under the rule of the Oken family, The palace was open to the public. The palace, for millennia, has been an attraction of the Oldren Kingdom, as the kings and queens would often roam the halls and vast gardens, which allowed citizens to interact and converse with the king of queen, if they where to bump into them. This is sill true to this day, as you'll often find King Wally watering the gardens, in his Pajamas. The palace also houses a military training arena, which is where new Oldren Military recruits are put through harsh, and potentially lethal conditions, in order to train them to be ready for war. this is also where The "Kings right to Lead" fight takes place, which is an event that happens each time a new king is about to claim the throne. The new king fights for 3 days against long-time military veterans, to prove that, in case of war, the King is capable of fighting alongside their army to protect the kingdom. and yes, There are cases of queens going through this trail, but it's called the King's right to lead out of tradition to "The King", which was the Oken that overthrew The Tyrant While the arena isn't open for the public to fight in, it is open for the public to watch new recruits being trained, and "The king's right to Lead" fights. The only parts of the palace which are cut off are the king and queen's quarters, as well as parliament's section of the building, which is heavily guarded due to the sensitivity of the documents and information inside. The palace is over 100 meters (over 3oo feet) tall, It's over 400 meters(over 1300 feet) wide, and it's over 450 meters (over 1400 feet) long, making it the second largest building to be constructed on the planet. (though it's only the 5th largest building constructed) The palace, despite being so old and so massive, has held up just fine, and survived many disasters that had wreaked havoc on the rest of the land, including the great infestation of 2004.
