Complimenting Physical Appearance: From my experience, the best way to make your compliments not to be weird is to compliment something the person chose about themself. For example, complimenting someone's outfit, shoes, hair color (if it's not a natural hair color, hairstyle, makeup, or tattoos. Complementing someone on their eyes, nose, or anything else that's mostly out of the other person's control is just weird. Complimenting Art:ists Since this is an art website, this is a pretty important one. First of all, I personally think calling someone "talented" is worse than calling someone skilled. Calling them talented implies they were born with the ability to draw and haven't worked hard to achieve what they can do. Calling someone "skilled" implies that they HAVE put effort into learning and doing art. This was a pretty short one compared to my Tips on conversations because compliments are much more simple and I'm not too used to complimenting much but I hope it was still helpful!
